With only 17 minutes to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, it is easy to get both from the world to Uppsala, and from Uppsala to the world. Once here, you can easily get around by foot, by bicycle or public transport.
Travel to Uppsala
It is easy and convenient to get to and from Uppsala, which is located along the northern main line and with excellent train connections with the rest of the country. Between Uppsala and Stockholm, the train journey only takes 37 minutes. There are also regular trains to places such as Sundsvall, Östersund and Borlänge. In addition, there are local trains to Tierp and Gävle. You can also easily reach Uppsala by train in just 17 minutes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Travel within Uppsala
Once in Uppsala, you can easily get around the city by foot, the compact city center means that you can reach most things within a short walking distance.
